How we set the sale price of a print... Home Page..
When you fairly compare our prices, and the quality of our art, with art from other galleries, offering similar products, you will find that the typical street gallery would sell this art at two, three, even four times our prices. Our prices are not inflated because there is no middleman. Here, you are dealing directly with the artist and his immediate family. And we always offer up to 20% discounts on multiple purchases.

The factors used to establish pricing for our prints, include only the following items:

  1. Edition Size - the total number of prints produced is the most significant factor impacting price. A print edition that is marked 90/10 AP, means there are only 100 total prints created. 90 are available for purchase, and 10 are artist's proofs (retained by the artist). Lower print edition sizes mean higher prices because there are less total prints in existence.
  2. Image Size, Media & Print Quality - the size and kind of paper, canvas, printer and inks used to create a print have an impact on pricing. The larger the print, the more raw materials (paper, canvas & ink) as well as time required to produce the end product. We use only 100% acid-free media for all of our prints. Most paper is very high-grade (higher priced) 100% cotton rag, while a few are made with (lower priced) acid-free wood pulp paper. The printing of just one of our large prints takes roughly 2 hours. Other print systems produce large volumes, quickly, but offer much less control over color and quality.

Prices are subject to change without notice.
