"Waiting
for the Catch" is a wonderful print of an original
watercolor created in 1965, of a marina / harbor on the Hudson river
in uptown New York City. This lovely winter scene is certainly a
gem! Note the artists ability to capture the depth of the moment
-- including the tug boat cruising up the Hudson in the distance.
Laszlo Tar lived in New York City since 1960. His love of New York
is evident in his large collection depicting life in the metropolitan
area. As with all of his works, this fine piece was completed on
location. For any New Yorker, this print will surely have special
meaning.
