About this Work of Art ~
"Park
Ride "
was created in 1964.
Laszlo Tar moved to New York in 1959 and loved painting in historic
Central Park - especially the upper east side area. He captures
a romantic autumn moment that is colorful and unforgettable to anyone
who has ever taken a carriage ride through the park. In the backdrop
is the skyline, with the famous Essex House Hotel on the left. In
the fore are trees set to drop their colorful leaves. A person sits
on the grass as a couple snuggles up for their carriage ride through
the park. The original is a watercolor and gouache painting and
the print is a perfectly color matched replica.
