"A
Walk with Mom" is a very special jewel. The original
work was completed in 1965. Laszlo Tar lived in New York City
since
1960 and loved to paint and draw the City's many scenic views.
This piece shows a view from Manhattan island, along the East
river in
the upper 40s, with the 59th Street bridge in the backdrop and
the Hells Gate and Triborough bridges in the far distance. As
Mom and
her little girl walk in the fresh snow, their best friend follows
behind, along their tracks. As with all of his works, the artist
completed this piece on location. Enjoy this wonderful masterwork.
