New Jersey Art Prints
Enjoy these beautiful signed limited prints of original works by Laszlo Tar, and his New Jersey Scenes. New Jersey has always held a special and important spot in the life and heart of Laszlo Tar. It was in fact the entry point and begin of his new life in the United States, in 1957 (Camp Kilmer). For three years, until approximately 1960, Laszlo Tar lived in New Jersey, in places like Newark and Belleville before moving to New York City. While living there he created some of his first watercolors and oil paintings of the United States, of Newark, Belleville and the lovely Branch Brook Park. Later, he would return to New Jersey and paint the waterfronts of Hoboken with "Todd Shipyard" and the dramatic New York City skyline as a backdrop. These are certainly not Laszlo Tar's earliest works, since his creative art journey actually starts in 1927, however they are the earliest created in the United States.
